May 9, 2010 Happy Mothers Day-No peaches or blackberries We have closed Adamek Orchards. The peaches and blackberries miss Weyman as much as we do. We appreciate your business and friendship throughout all these 25 years. Thank you for all your kind thoughts and prayers.. Weyman Adamek, the owner, founder, and heart of Adamek Orchards was called to Heaven in October of 2008. Taking into consideration the neglect the trees have felt and the leaf disease that devasted the orchards for the past couple years resulting in the death of over 2/3 of the trees, we have decided to let the trees rest.

Adamek Orchards was a family owned and operated peach orchard, established in 1985. At one time, we had over 16,000 trees on 160 acres and three large blackberry patches.

- Adamek Orchards had one of the largest pick your own orchards in the state of Texas. Starting around the end of April until June, people came from miles around to take advantage of the juicy peaches. Enjoy the rest of the site filled with pictures of pickers and blackberries.
